These two months were spent constructing the two new smaller bases, one in Fonds-Parisien and one on Ile a Vache. Good friends and family came to help accomplish the massive job.

It\'s getting closer to completion.
There was also the HUGE job of packing up and vacating the old base.
Friends Nick and Cristin rode the two motorcycles clear across the southern peninsula of Haiti where the motos were put on a boat and taken to Ile a Vache.
Construction materials were painstakingly packed into large boats for transport to the island.
There was much waiting on the dock for the boats to go back and forth with the belongings.
The \"dock\" is extremely rough concrete and difficult to deal with when the sea is rough.

Upon arrival, since there is no dock, the lumber and roof metal was all thrown into the sea and had to be fished out. The metal had to be washed with fresh water hauled in.

The walls are beginning to go up!
More progress!
And more!
The hole for the septic tank is begun!
This is Cenita, our Haitian friend who does most of our cooking on Ile a Vache.
The roof is going on!
Our visitors worked so hard!
It\'s going to be a nice spot.
Getting the hand made door put in was a milestone.
