Work continued on the cistern and house in Raket, an exciting time for the village. B.J., Barney, and Glenn came in early June to help. They all made the arduous hike up the mountain to Janou, bringing food to feed the village. It was exciting to see the cistern half full of water!! The guys added some siding to the church there and during a church service, Barney shared and encouraged the people in the Lord, talking about the good gifts God gives us. While the team was in Haiti, a meal was served in all three villages we work in, feeding over 800 people!! The guys went home but B.J. retuned soon bringing school supplies for Janou. Bill wasn’t feeling well so B.J. undertook the trip to Janou with some Haitian friends, talking with the people there and explaining the use of some of the supplies. He also took seeds provided by Hope Seeds to help the people who had lost their gardens to heavy rains. (Click on pic to see more pics!)
